Chocolate Caramel Turkeys

Emily Hutchinson

Yield: About 24 turkeys

Ingredients:

Pecans, you will need 120 for 24 turkeys

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons vegetable oil or coconut oil

1, 13oz bag of Kraft caramels, or similar brand

1 tablespoon water

Orange jimmies

Mini chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Add oil to chocolate chips and melt in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Can use a double boiler.

2. Melt caramel by adding in water and microwaving in 30 second increments. Can melt on the stovetop.

3. Take a cookie sheet and line with parchment paper. Put a small amount of chocolate on the parchment, lay down 5 pecans on the top half of the chocolate for the turkey feathers.

4. Add on caramel and then follow with chocolate on top to cover the caramel.

5. Put two mini chocolate chips at the top for the eyes, and take two orange jimmies and make them into a beak.

6. Chill in the refrigerator and enjoy.

Sweetly, xoxo Em
