Tips and Tricks:

Ground Turkey Taco Meat

Brown 1 pound of ground turkey meat and add chili beans and fresh spinach. This can be used for soft or hard tacos, burritos, and taco salads throughout the week.

Rotisserie Chicken

I love to buy a pre-made rotisserie chicken at the start of the week and can usually pull 2 Cups of chopped meat from it. You can keep this in the fridge for easy salads, chicken pot pie, and soups throughout the week, or freeze it and pull it out for soups, casseroles, and chicken pot pie when needed.

Ground Chuck

I typically have a 2 pound back of fully cooked ground chuck in the freezer at all times. I will brown 2 pounds with a little onion and garlic added in and then freeze it in a Ziploc freezer bag.

This can be used for my zesty hamburger soup, spaghetti with meat sauce, chili, baked ziti or lasagna.
