Cornflake Marshmallow Wreath Treats

Emily Hutchinson

Yield: Makes 24 to 36 wreaths depending on size

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Salted butter

2 big drops green food coloring gel add more food coloring if its not gel

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp almond extract

4 1/4 cups mini marshmallows or one small bag

4 1/2 cups corn flakes

1 bag cinnamon imperials/ red hots

Directions:

1. Melt butter and marshmallows in a large microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, be careful with hot marshmallows.

2. Quickly add food coloring and stir.

3. Add in corn flakes and stir gently until cornflakes are coated.

4. Scoop small amounts and tightly bunch the wreaths so they firmly stick together but don't crush the cornflakes. Add three red hots to each wreath. I use plastic gloves so the marshmallow doesn’t stick to my hands. Let them set up and enjoy!

xx, Em
