Materials:

Felt sheets

Fabric scissors

Fabric glue

Velcro

Puff paint, optional

Directions:

1. Cut the felt with fabric scissors into a strip long enough to go around a desired mug or cup, and about 1 1/2-2 inches thick.

2. Add details to the center of the felt strip using additional felt to create Christmas shapes such as a snowman, a tree, holly, etc., and attach them to the felt strip with fabric glue.

3. Add velcro to the two ends with fabric glue.

4. Once the glue dries, the drink sleeve is ready to use.

Tips:

Hot glue can be used instead of fabric glue if needed, but fabric glue is best for longevity since it can be washed without concern of coming unattached.

Hot fabric glue is great for saving time and can be found at the fabric store.

Add additional details, such as personalization and intricate details, with puff paint.
