Southern Buttermilk Pie

This southern dessert is one of Jamie Tarence's favorites and it's made entirely in a blender. No bowls required!

Southern Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients:

Refrigerated pie crust

½ C Buttermilk

3 Eggs

1 ½ C sugar

2 Tbsp flour

1 Tbsp vanilla

1 Stick of butter, melted

 

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.

2. Place your pie crust into your pie pan.

3. Add all your ingredients to your blender except the melted butter and blend for 4 minutes.

4. Add the melted butter to the blender and blend until incorporated.

5. Pour the batter into the pie crust

6. Bake for 40 minutes.

7. Take the pie out and let it sit for a few hours to firm up.

8. Serve by itself or with vanilla ice cream.
