Mosquitoes will definitely put a damper on a backyard barbecue or an evening on your patio. Rachel Van Kluyve's easy to make DIY Mosquito Repellent Candles are a safe way to get rid of pesky mosquitoes and other bugs.
DIY Mosquito Repellant Candles

Items Needed:
Basil Sprigs
1 Lemon
2 Small Limes
Lemongrass Essential Oils
Floating Candle
Water
Mason Jars
Directions:
1. Slice up your Lemons and limes into circular thin slices
2. Add your basil sprigs to the bottom of the mason jar
3. Layer in your Lemon and Lime slices
4. Drop in 10-15 drops of your lemongrass essential oil
5. Fill with water to the threading of the mason jar to allow room for the candle.
6. Place in floating candle.
7. Light and enjoy!
