Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Ingredients:

4 – 6 lb. Turkey Breast 

3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or avocado oil

1 Lemon 

4 Tbsp Butter, melted

4 – 6 Garlic Cloves

2 Cups Chicken or Bone Broth 

Kosher Salt

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Lemon Pepper

 

Directions:

1. Remove the turkey from the package and pat dry with a paper towel. 

2. Turn Instant Pot to Sear and add extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil.

3. Season your turkey breast on all sides as you’d like – I use kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lemon pepper. 

4. Sear the turkey breast on all sides, about 4 – 7 minutes. 

5. Pour melted butter over turkey breast. 

6. Smash fresh garlic cloves and add to Instant Pot. 

7. Add the juice of one lemon. 

8. Add 2 cups of chicken or bone broth. 

9. Turn Instant Pot on High Pressure for 25 minutes.  

10. Let the turkey breast rest in an Instant Pot for at least 1 hour – up to 4 hours. 

11. Transfer turkey breast to a cutting board and remove wire.

12. Carve and enjoy!
