Shamrock Pretzel Pops

Maria Provenzano's sweet shamrocks will be loved by the young and the young at heart! All you need are pretzels twists, sprinkles, and green candy wafers to create this simple treat for St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick’s Day Cooking

Supplies: 

Green candy melts (aka candy coating chocolate) 

Bowl for melted chocolate 

Pretzels 

Festive sprinkles 

Lollipop sticks 

Baking sheet lined with wax paper 

Two forks 

 

Directions: 

1.     Melt the chocolate according to the package instructions. 

2.     Place the lollipop sticks onto the prepared baking sheet. 

3.     Dip three to four pretzels into the chocolate and use the forks to coat the pretzels completely and then tap the fork onto the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate from the pretzels. 

4.     Place the pretzels on top of the lollipop stick to form a clover shape. 

5.     Add an addition spoonful of chocolate to the center of the pretzels to ensure they will stay together. 

6.     Add sprinkles to the center. 

7.     Repeat to make more pops. 

8.     Allow the chocolate to harden completely. 

9.     Once hardened, remove from baking sheet.
